ZOVILOVIR 250 mg Lyophilized Powder for Solution for I.V. Infusion

Used in adults and pediatric patients older than three months for the empirical treatment of suspected fungal infections in febrile neutropenic patients; the treatment of Candida infections, including candidemia, intra-abdominal abscesses, peritonitis, and pleural space infections; and the treatment of esophageal candidiasis. It is also indicated for the treatment of invasive aspergillosis in adults who are refractory to or intolerant of other antifungal therapies.

Used for the treatment of sepsis, meningitis, disseminated Lyme borreliosis, abdominal infections, bone and joint infections, soft-tissue, skin and wound infections, infections associated with immune system disorders, kidney and urinary tract infections, respiratory tract and ear, nose and throat infections, and genital infections including gonorrhea caused by susceptible pathogens, as well as for preoperative infection prophylaxis.

It is indicated for the parenteral treatment of complicated skin and soft-tissue infections, bone and joint infections, hospital- or community-acquired pneumonia, complicated urinary tract infections, infective endocarditis, peritonitis associated with continuous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, and bacteremia associated with these infections in adults and children from birth. It is also used as an alternative oral treatment for diarrhea and colitis caused by Clostridium difficile infection.
